2. Because of the famine he built high stone walls all the way to the sea to protect the people living on his land
3. Sarah Caffrey(Great Great Aunt) got the house as a wedding present for saving some one’s life as a nurse
4. The house was then passed down to Michael and Mary-Anne Waters (Great Granddad & Granny)
5. Then it was passed down to Michael and Mora Waters (Granddad & Granny)
6. Now it’s owned to John and Prannie Waters (Uncle & Aunt)
7. It’s been passed down for 4 generations in the Waters family
8. It was listed for its history of the house itself
9. It was listed on the 11 of October 2004
