1st Class had an action-packed day today starting with a visit to Sligo Library and Museum. A librarian read them an extract from 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and afterwards they were allowed to look around the library and choose books to read. They were also allowed to sign up for 'The Summer Stars' programme and each received a bag. After this they received a tour of the museum and discovered lots of interesting artefacts there. We finished the day with a trip to the Hawk's Well Theatre to watch a fantastic musical and interactive performance by 'The WhistleBlast Quartet'. A wonderful day was had by all.
