To make the most of the Indian summer, 2nd Class went blackberry picking around Newgrange. There was an abundance of blackberries and 2nd Class made a fantastic effort in picking as many as possible.
What to do once they were picked?
We investigated how heat can change a solid into a liquid and made some delicious blackberry coulis in the staffroom with Karina. What else do you need? Ice cream to mix it with! Yum!
