The boys' and girls' hurling and camogie teams enjoyed great success at the recent Cumann na mBunscol finals which were held at St Mary's GAA club.
The girls played valiantly against a strong team from Carraroe NS but were narrowly beaten by one score in their camogie final.
The boys came up against a tough and physical team from Scoil Mhuire gan Smal, Ballymote. They showed grit and determination and made some top quality scores to come out as worthy champions.
Huge thanks to our super coach Mr Hallissy who guided and mentored both teams and our dedicated group of parents who have supported both teams. We are very appreciative of John Hughes and his voluntary Cumann na mBunscol committee for organising a hugely entertaining tournament.
